The KFC Pyramid...
Hello everyone how are you!?!?!?
So this week we were not able to meet with Richard and his family, it is unfortunate but they really aren't as interested as we had originally thought. We will continue to stop by and serve them the best we can and teach them when available.
We did have a solid lesson with Shaelee again this week, her mom sat in with us during the lesson. She expressed some of her concerns with the church, one of them being why the Prophet and the Apostles and the Seventy are treated like celebrities. She thinks that we should all be equal (which we are). We were able to resolve most of her concerns, but there is still a long way to go to get that family active again and getting Shaelee baptized.
This week was zone conference! And while zone conference goes on our cars get inspected by other missionaries, so when the Escondido zone conference was going on on Tuesday, me and Elder Snyder got to go and help inspect the cars. It was pretty boring, but afterwards we helped set up the lunch for the other zone and we made a huge pyramid of the KFC boxes, it was pretty tight, I'll send pics.
Then it was our zones turn for zone conference on Thursday. And it was soooo good. We talked about the importance of our voice, and how we say things. When we talk we should speak with earnestness and we should be confident in what we do! We also did three workshops, one on planning and the others were on personal and comp study.
Blitzed our area this week, it was way fun!! and we got a lot of solid potentials that were picked up by the other missionaries, so we are hoping to follow up with all of them this week and pick up some new investigators!!
Funny story: So we were back at the apartment and we were getting all our stuff out of the car. Elder Snyder grabbed my bag and scriptures and whatnot out of the trunk for me, but I didn't see him do that. So I leaned in to grab all my stuff out of the back right as he shut the trunk, and he slammed it right into my head! Holy crap it hurt soooo bad, don't worry I am fine, no stitches or anything, but it definitely broke the skin and I had a massive headache hahaha
