Norman...

Hey everyone!!

This week was super pretty cool. First week in the Fallbrook 5th ward. I love it here. The members here are awesome! Super helpful and really missionary minded.

My companion like I said last week is Elder Norman. He is from Sugar City Idaho and he LOVES Idaho and is very proud of the fact that he is from there haha. He is a big baseball fan and he likes boating and dirt bikes and cliff jumping, and just everything outdoors. So me and him have gotten along super well. He has been out for just one transfer longer than I have.

The area is doing pretty well. We have a few people we are teaching. Sandy and Jim, and Jason and Tanya are two couples that we are teaching. Tanya and Sandy are sisters. Tanya originally found the church when she broke her leg, she needed help and her daughter who is a member got the bishop over to here to help and she has been love with the church ever since. Jason is not a big fan of the church and that is really the only reason Tanya isn't already baptized. Sandy and Jim live with Tanya and Jason, and were introduced to the church as the missionaries taught Tanya. They love the church and will probably get baptized but Jim has to divorce his last wife and officially marry Sandy before they can get baptized. They are awesome people and welcome us over whenever they can.

Other people we are teaching. Another couple, Brandon and Betty that they found tracting a few weeks ago. Debby Mack, an older lady who has been taking lessons for a while now. And Ruben someone else they found knocking doors. I haven't met Debby or Ruben but I know everyone else.

First week as a zone leader has been fun. We introduce a zone theme that will be the focus of the transfer. This transfer our theme was "Thy will be done". Vista didn't hit their baptismal goal for last month and some of the missionaries were down. We wanted them to see that we can do all we can, but in the end, it is God's will that will be done, not their own. We encouraged them to keep going no matter the results. Other than that we just went to Missionary Leadership Council (MLC). Which is where we set goals for the mission, council about issues in the mission that need resolving, get some leadership training, and a few other things.

Love life out here so much!!

 Love you all so much!!
