On the Grind and Bike Wreck...

Hello Hello

So this week is one of those weeks where you work your tail off and don't get exactly what you wanted. It's okay though there was still some good that came out of it. We picked up a pretty solid investigators. She is pretty solid, her name is Stacey, and she was actually found by the Spanish elders and then referred over to us. She has a great desire to learn and it is fun to teach her because she is so knowledgeable about religion.

No serious progress has been made with any of our solid investigators. We did have some contact with Brandon and Amber, but we haven't been able to teach a lesson and they didn't come to church. Tammy came to church, but Brian didn't, good news there tho, their son Connor is turning 8 this week so he will officially count as a new investigator which is pretty cool I guess.

Had an exchange with Elder Figgins who is one of the ZLs, and also my companion two weeks ago, it was way fun except for the fact that his bike tire popped and we didn't have a replacement so we were forced to spend the rest of the day on foot, by the end my feet were soooo sore but it was awesome!!! it builds character.

Also forgot to tell you I got into a nasty bike wreck last week, it hurt sooo bad, went straight over the handlebars and destroyed the whole left side of my body, sorry no pics, no worries I'm fine.

Love you all,

Elder Shields
